An independent illustrator with a Master of Arts in Design.

Suijer is a Visual China–contracted photographer and illustrator who works at the intersection of photography and illustration. Drawing from a photographer’s perspective, she uses illustration as a way to reinterpret real-world scenes, capturing architecture and landscapes from around the world with warmth and sensitivity.

Her work spans multiple media and styles, focusing on gentle, detailed expressions of everyday life and travel. Through layered colour and thoughtful composition, Suijer transforms ordinary places into quiet moments of beauty, inviting viewers to slow down and observe the world with care and curiosity.
