During the COVID lockdown, I had just welcomed my baby into the world. Like many new mothers, I struggled to find time for myself while navigating the constant demands of caring for a newborn. In the midst of that overwhelming period, I began searching for something—anything—that could bring me a small sense of calm and focus.

One day, while browsing a bookstore, I came across a jigsaw puzzle. On a whim, I picked up a 1,000-piece puzzle and decided to give it a try. That simple decision unexpectedly changed everything.

Puzzling quickly became something I could return to in small moments—while nursing my baby, in between cooking meals, while watching TV dramas or listening to music. It became a grounding ritual that helped me manage postpartum anxiety and my untreated ADHD, and most importantly, it helped me get through the long and isolating lockdown period.

By 2022, my love for puzzles had grown into a deep appreciation for puzzles with different textures, finishes, and tactile sensations—those subtle details that transform puzzling into a truly immersive experience. As I explored further, I discovered many incredible international puzzle brands offering exceptional quality and artistic designs. However, accessing these puzzles in Australia often meant ordering from overseas platforms and waiting six weeks or more for delivery.

That frustration sparked an idea.
